Hey y’all! My name is Margaret Nicole, and I’m the beauty and brains behind all that is the Marg, The Med Beauty Community!

I help people with their natural hair, beauty, and health!

I’m a beauty influencer turned medical student! I’m 25 years old and was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas with a mom, dad, and 2 brothers. As of July 1st, 2020, I just finished working as a Research Assistant at an academic health center doing cancer health disparities research during the day and having fun as a Natural Hair Influencer at night! In February 2020, all of my hard work and dedication came to fruition when I was finally accepted into MEDICAL SCHOOL!!! That is definitely one of proudest moments, and I was finally happy that I stayed the course, even though bumpy and long. 

Sometimes, people change their mind about what they want to do with their life and in their career. Sometimes, it takes people longer to reach a goal then others. I started this blog to be a reminder, that silent whisper in my readers’ ears saying, “It’s okay. Slow progress is still progress nonetheless!” I started this blog to be a voice of encouragement and guidance to those who are perhaps on a non-traditional route to accomplishing their dreams. I strongly believe that anything worth having/doing is worth fighting for. Dreams don’t just magically happen; they are accomplished through hard work, persistence, and passion. We all have dreams and goals. I hope to be a source of motivation and drive for all of my readers that we really can do anything we set our hearts and minds to!  

I started this blog to continue my beauty influencing, discuss important health topics (especially for us ladies), advise non-traditional pre-medical students, and share my medical school journey! Whether you’re going to medical school or working towards any dream, my blog will be a source of motivation that will help you accomplish your goals! I’m also excited to share with you tips on beauty, natural hair, staying motivated, and improving your health!
